Jokasafe was founded in 1960. Our manufacturing facility is located in Evijärvi, South Ostrobothnia, Finland.

We are the only industrial manufacturer of coated protective gloves in Europe.

Supply security

For any critical material, it is essential to choose a partner capable of delivering under all circumstances — including during serious disruptions and exceptional conditions. Protective gloves are a critical material. Without gloves, work stops.

Jokasafe is the only European manufacturer. All other production takes place in Asia.

We are a reliable supply chain partner, contributing to risk management and business continuity across European industry, defence and other essential operations.

Product certification

All Jokasafe protective gloves have been tested, classified and certified in accordance with EU Personal Protective Equipment Regulation (EU) 2016/425. Ongoing compliance of our products is monitored by SGS Fimko Oy (0598).

Environmental responsibility

With modern solutions and correct application, PVC is a material with a relatively low environmental impact. The choice of raw materials can significantly reduce the carbon footprint of the finished product. Product durability is equally important.

BIOVYN™ — derived from renewable or recycled sources — is the primary material in our PVC compound across all our products. This single decision alone delivers a decisive reduction in CO₂ emissions compared to products made from conventional, fossil-based raw materials.

Sustainability is a core part of our strategy. We continuously seek ways to further reduce the environmental impact of our products.

In terms of mechanical durability, our double-layered, elastic coating performs strongly in both smooth and rough-coated form. The longest documented service life of a Jokasafe protective glove is over 30 years.

Key Flag Symbol — Made in Finland

Jokasafe protective gloves and anti-slip products are manufactured in Finland, and we are authorised to use the Key Flag Symbol of the Association for Finnish Work on these products.
